The Maritime Engineering and Environmental Studies Academy (MEESA) is a partnership between Old Dominion University and Newport News Public Schools. Based at the Brooks Crossing Innovation Lab, MEESA focuses on maritime and environmental studies, emphasizing experiential learning and community partnerships. The academy aims for academic excellence, innovation, and preparing students to meet the growing demands of the Maritime industry.
